Mardi Gras seems to be a pretty chaotic holiday filled with beads, drink, and NOISE. I have some friends that throw a big Mardi Gras party every year, and after they remember what all happened at the party, they seem to have a good time. I have been – in years’ past – a monster failure at Valentine’s Day. My son’s elementary school is forever throwing parties. It’s really great; I know that they will all only be this age once when they actually want their parents in the school and are happy to have cupcakes and crafts to celebrate a holiday big or small.
