A Birthday Party Amongst The Holidays

It is always sad to me when Children are born during the holiday season. Well it isn’t sad at the time because it is a blessing and an amazing “Christmas present” for the parents, but throughout the child’s life he/she probably won’t have big birthday parties that other children have, because of the financial tension of the holiday season. This is the case with my wife’s little sister. Her sister was born a few days before Christmas, so she doesn’t get big, fun birthday parties because Christmas is right around the corner, and everyone is trying to save. Especially in the last two years things have been extra tight due to the economy. This year will be different.
