My sister is due to deliver my first niece on Christmas Eve. I can’t help but think that this baby’s birthday will forever be in the shadow of this monumental holiday. I was recently elected president of my children’s elementary school PTA. Next week I am throwing a baby shower for my good friend Vanessa. Her mom is hosting the party. It will be indoor/outdoor, weather permitting of course. This weekend my mother and I are throwing a baby shower for my sister. She is pregnant with twins – fraternal, one boy, one girl. That’s my sister for you – very efficient.
